Where and when do we meet?
Meet at 3:00pm Sunday 23rd May at North Narrabeen ocean pool carpark. Address is North Narrabeen Rockpool, Narrabeen Park Parade, North Narrabeen, NSW 2101.
We will finish the walk at Mona Vale surf club. Address is Mona Vale Surf Lifesaving Club, Surfview Road, Mona Vale, NSW 2103.
How long is the walk?
The walk is 3.75km and will take about 1 hour. Dependent on how quick a walker you are, and how long you stop to admire and experience the beautiful views, beaches and headlands!
Is it a difficult walk?
The walk does involve up and down sections as you go over the headlands. These are all well-established paths and steps. It also includes some sand walking along these amazing beaches.
What is the parking situation?
There is meter parking at North Narrabeen ocean pool carpark (free if have Northern Beaches permit). Otherwise there is free parking on the surrounding roads.
Are drinks and refreshments provided?
There are water bubblers at various stages along the route. Please bring reusable water bottles….no single use plastic please! There will also be a refreshment station midway by Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. And of course there will be a free BBQ and drinks behind Mona Vale beach at the end of the walk.
How do we get back to our car after we have finished the walk?
Please try and pre-arrange this with friends by leaving a second car at Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club to drive back to North Narrabeen after the walk. Alternatively, some friends & family will be able to drive you back to North Narrabeen. Please ask one of the marshalls at the end of the walk to arrange it.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The walk will go ahead in all weather conditions. However, if the weather is looking bad please check the BEAT Bladder Cancer Facebook page for any updates.
