Hop on the Mends Street Ferry in South Perth and cross over to Elizabeth Quay (free on Sunday with a Transperth card).

Walk through David Carr Memorial Park (the energetic could do a small detour to John Oldham Park to view the magical waterfall).

Return walk over Narrows Bridge back to Millers Pool (opposite the South Perth Mill) and back to the South Perth foreshore.

This walk will take around 1 hour (other shorter options are available). There is plenty to see and do around South Perth, including Perth Zoo, Art Trail, Old Mill and Ferry Tram.

If joining the walk from the South - please arrive at 9.45am for a 10am start. We will meet at the Mends Street Jetty in South Perth, where we will take the free ferry across to Elizabeth Quay. There is paid parking around the Jetty area.

If joining the walk from the North - please arrive at 10am ready to meet the ferry at around 10:15am at Elizabeth Quay ferry terminal. (This is opposite the train and bus station).

When everybody has joined the group we will take a group photo at the Big Silver Bird (First Contact) by the river.

No, it is an easy flat walk with various add-on options dependent on how energetic you feel.

There are lots of cafes on the walk route. Light drinks & refreshments will be provided.

Yes. There are many toilets in the area.

It is a circular walk, so we will be returning back to South Perth at the start point.

Dogs are allowed on the walk. But not allowed on public transport unless a service animal.

The walk will go ahead in all weather conditions. However, if the weather is looking bad please check the BEAT Bladder Cancer Facebook page for any updates.
